Upcoming 2011-12 Performances
Fine Art venues will hold their performances in the Lamar Theater or other places on or off campus until HISD completes renovation to the Ned S. Holmes Performance Hall. We try to make tickets available for all performances at least 4-weeks ahead of the performance and tickets can be purchased with a credit card. The advantage: one does not have to stand in line an hour before the performance starts. All seats in the Performance Hall are numbered—it is assigned seating only for all performances. Performances in other places are at General Seating only —not assigned seating.
Online ticket sales close 4 hours prior to the performance (3:00 p.m.). When you purchase tickets ahead of a performance in person, it is by cash only. No credit cards and no checks. Just cash.
Tickets may be purchased online with a credit card. You may choose the exact seats you wish to purchase from the diagram of the seating of the Performance Hall. Online seating purchases will end at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the performance. All other seats must be purchased in the lobby between 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. with cash only, no credit cards, no checks. The house opens at 7:00 p.m. and there will be no one seated after the performance begins. So, be on time or be early.
