Moodle is an Open Source Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). PSconnect is for registered users (i.e., parents and students) to log in to access a variety of student information, see class assignments and school calendars, and even communicate electronically with teachers. Users can also choose to have an e-mail or text message sent if a child's grades drop below a selected average or is absent or tardy to class. Click below to login:

ManageBac is the leading web-based solution designed to help IB schools comprehensively manage their IB Diploma & Middle Years programmes. For Coordinators, ManageBac centralizes the school’s IB records and deadlines allowing them to oversee requirements more efficiently. It keeps students organized with a consolidated planner and significantly reduces paperwork for teachers. It organizes different components of IB requirements:  EE, ToK & Internal Assessment requirements for the Diploma programme, and Community & Service and the Personal Project for the Middle Years programme.

 

Naviance.com is a web site the district uses that allows students to request transcript, track GPA, contact counselors, request recommendations, and research universities, scholarships, and programs. Students can get their activation code from their counselor.

Teacher Tools:

GradeSpeed is an online gradebook that teachers at LamarHS .  The online gradebook can only be used with Internet Explorer 7, if you attempt to use another web browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) you will get an error message telling you to use Internet Explorer. Teachers can click on this link to bring up the login for GradeSpeed.

Chancery is HISD's student information system. Chancery is web application and can only be accessed from inside the HISD network. You should also use Internet Explorer 7 to log into Chancery. Other browers may not be fully compatible.
