Lamar's school hours for the 2011 - 2012 school year are 8:20 a.m. - 3:42 p.m. The first bell rings at 8:20 a.m. with tardy bell to first period at 8:30 a.m.

Period 1 & 5 : 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Period 2/6: 10:07 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Period 3/7: 11:52 a.m. - 2:05 p.m.
Period 4/8: 2:12 p.m. - 3:42 p.m.
Advisory Period A/B Day
Period 1/5: 8:30 a.m. - 9:40 a.m.
Advocacy: 9:47 a.m. - 10:17 a.m.
Period 2/6: 10:24 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Period 3/7: 11:52 a.m. - 2:05 p.m.
Period 4/8: 2:12 p.m. - 3:42 p.m.
Lunch Schedules
A Lunch 11:52 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.
B Lunch 12:25 - 12:55 p.m.
C Lunch 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.
D Lunch 1:35 - 2:05 p.m.
The Lamar campus offices will be open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Parents that need to register their children for school may do so any day in room N110 between 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. before the first day of school.
The first day of school was Monday, August 22, registration was in the Gym. Parents must bring student's birth certificate, social security card, immunization record, last report card, latest standardized test scores - TAKS & Stanford, and parent must provide proof of residency: either electricity, water, gas bill, or a lease with the student's name as a resident and parent's Texas Driver's License with current address.
